which horrified me to no end.

Now, most people have no problem with the police doing what they feel they have to do, and if a few get it wrong, oh well, these people were probably doing something else illegal (such as being Latinos) that we haven’t caught them at yet.

I certainly do. Scrolling through the comments, it was refreshing to see someone else felt the same way:

I couldn’t have said it better myself. We have to start putting the brakes on some of the far-right policies that are going into effect here. We failed to do in Germany in the 1930’s; with that example, it would be a shame if we let that happen again in the United States.
